G’sta has spent decades producing and captivating audiences with his artistry, collaborating with icons like 2Pac, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, B.G., and Ras Indio. His genre-spanning music has reached listeners worldwide, and today he channels his experience into producing. helping other artists bring their visions to life.
At just 11, under the mentorship of his uncle Carl Marshall at Giftt Recording Studio, G’sta began making beats for local talent. By 1995, he was producing for his uncle’s project "Let’s Get Fired Up", developing a distinctive style that blended live instrumentation with Hip Hop. His 1997 production work with local legend M.C.L and his own debut project Misery cemented his buzz in New Orleans, leading to collaborations with No Limit Records artist Calliope Popeye, scoring the film Strait Jacket, and producing R&B tracks for the group Elate.
G'sta has had the opportunity to work alongside producers like Swizz Beatz and Afeni Shakur, and helped reestablish New Orleans on the Hip-Hop map. Founding SoStimulus Entertainment & Productions, he built a platform for emerging talent while partnering with Layzie Bone on multiple projects.
